Coming from a Latin American country, I would have never thought that a Norwegian could dance better than a Latin man, however Erik proved me wrong! I met Erik in a workshop in Oslo when he came to visit from USA. The workshop was amazing, because he teaches you how to dance with the music and not how to count steps. After the workshop finished I had mixed feelings, happy because I learnt so many nice things and sad because I missed the opportunity to learn from him while he was living in Oslo, only because at that time I thought a Norwegian cannot be a ‘natural’ salsa dancer. Now he is back in Oslo and I am part of his student team where we are learning so many cool and useful things! I completely recommend Erik not only as a salsa teacher but also as a great salsa dancer.

I recently took my first private lesson with Erik with only a couple of salsa classes behind me. I have to say that it did not feel like a lesson with him. It felt like two people just dancing for an hour. He taught me how to connect, to feel and trust your partner (I'm still learning this). Erik truly has that gift. When you let your mind take a back seat and allow your movement flow together with your partner, it's THAT feeling you strive for on the dance floor...joy, fulfillment, expression and most importantly, connection without saying a word. I now have a new love in my life.....SALSA!!!!

I can strongly recommend Consuelo as private teacher. She even managed to get someone like me, a very slow learner lacking talent, to make great progress. And as important, having a lot of fun during classes and also to learn more about yourself through dancing.

I strongly recommend both private lessons and salsa classes with Erik and Consuelo. They are wonderful teachers that provides a quick and thorough introduction/training in salsa. You will see results. They have a way to teach dance in which I have not experienced elsewhere. They have patience with their “students”, encourage you and give you confidence. Here it is not only focus on learning the steps, but also on body control, how relate to dance partner, details of movement and last but not least the joy of dancing. I loved it!

I have taken private lessons with both Eric and Consuelo. And they are just great teachers! I have learned a lot from Consuelo how to move my body, arms , the foot work. She is amazing!! Eric have told me all about the partner work. How to really follow your partner without thinking the moves ahead. He has this incredible way of explaining things that you just get it!! They both have this natural talent of teaching, the great teachers I have ever had! And they are amazing dancers with such a unique style! I would highly recommend to take private lessons with both of them and I can guarantee you will see the results right away!!

Absolutely the best dance teachers I have ever taken private lessons with! Not only did I learn a lot every single time but they make you feel good and secure in your self and your dancing ability while learning! And you really get your money's worth! They are actually quite cheap compared to what other teachers on their level charge! Got a lot of compliments from other dancers on my technical skills improving after my lessons with Erik, totally recommend them!

I took private lessons in Oslo with Consuelo before she moved to USA, and I wish it could be more. The lessons took my dancing skills many steps forward as Consuleo is very good at explaining steps and moves. I became much more confident and I learnt both how to add my own twists to the dancing and to be a good follower. It was very good value for the money :-)

If you are like I was, you want to become an amazing dancer, and you are impatient so you want if fast, I highly recommend private lessons with Erik and Consuela! My silver medal from the Nationals speaks for itself, I managed to go from never having danced before to place second in the Norwegian Championship in Salsa in 1.5 years because of taking private lessons with them
